Playwright recording and scripts

Record page actions as Playwright code, or write/import JavaScript and TypeScript. Run on multiple browsers, after a delay or in a loop.

Updated October 8, 2026

  1. Open the script panel

Expand Playwright recording / scripts in the cloud-browser workspace or AWS web RDP workspace. Managed browsers require the new image. Existing self-hosted browsers can get a command from Upgrade installation in the browser list and run it on the original VPS.

  2. Record or write code

Enable/connect the browser, start recording and interact with its web pages. Stop recording to edit, download or save the code to your account. Supported operations include locators, input, clicks, waits, assertions, popups and JavaScript loops. Scripts receive browser capabilities only; Node file/process APIs and third-party modules are unavailable. The platform manages browser launch options.

  3. Browsers on AWS instances

Supports Edge and Brave on Windows EC2 and Lightsail. Initial setup installs an agent through SSM. Sign in to the Administrator desktop; the agent opens the selected browser in its own window and keeps a persistent login/profile. Brave must already be installed, and the AWS credential needs SSM Run Command permission.

  4. Batch and loop execution

Select targets, a start delay, rounds and the interval, then run. Each execution uses a new tab and reuses its browser login; include page.goto. Execution continues after closing the workspace. Stop or timeout cancels that run. While looping, apply edited code next round; the current round keeps its submitted snapshot. These loops reuse the selected browsers and do not create or delete instances.
